Asauddin Owaisi, the President of the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM,) is soon going to address a public meeting in Hyderabad, Telangana.
The meeting is specially organised to discuss the ongoing Citizenship (Amendment) Act [CAA,] 2019, National Register of Citizen (NRC) and National Population Register (NPR.)
Asaduddin Owaisi, who recently received hate comments after a Bengaluru woman said Pakistan Zindabad, in front of Mr. Owaisi, during anti CAA protest.
However, Mr. Owaisi and AIMIM leaders denounced the slogan and said though the Party is protesting against the CAA, NRC and NPR, they do not agree with the slogan of the woman.
The Party said, “We are for India and our entire drive is to save India, we no way support our enemy nation Pakistan.”
Speaking about the public meeting,, the AIMIM Party took the permission from the Hyderabad Police, after Mr. Owaisi gave a presentation regarding the meeting on the 17th of February.
The meeting over CAA, NRC and NPR is scheduled to be held on the 24th of February, at Tank Bund, Hyderabad, Telangana.
