Amit Shah, the Home Minister of India and a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP,) on the 17th of September, will address a rally in Nizamabad, Telangana.
The rally will be organised to celebrate the ‘liberation day’ of Telangana. The decision to conduct the rally came after a thorough inspection of districts like Mahabubnagar, Karimnagar and Nizamabad.
The idea to organise a rally was discussed during a meeting, which was held on the 8th of August, after a former Member of Parliament of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) joined the BJP.
During the meeting, the BJP leaders discussed several aspects of Telangana and its ruling Government, the TRS. They also held talks regarding the development projects initiated by the TRS.
The leaders of the BJP also spoke about the recently held BJP membership drive in Telangana.
The BJP will organise a grand rally in Nizamabad, which will include several programmes to celebrate the Telangana liberation day.
