The switching of political parties in Telangana has now become a regular trend. Recently, Motkupalli Narasimhulu, a leader of the Bharatiya Janata party (BJP) resigned from the Party.
On the 23rd of July, the BJP leader submitted his resignation letter to Bandi Sanjay Kumar, the President of the BJP in Telangana. In his resignation, Motkupalli Narasimhulu expressed his disappointment with the Party about his position in the BJP.
After resigning, the former BJP leader addressed the media and said he was unaware about a lot of developments in the BJP unit of Telangana. He also did not know about the entry of Eatala Rajender, the former Health Minister of Telangana and leader of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS.) He said he has always been looked down upon and was not even included as the executive member of the BJP Central Committee, despite his experience in politics. The leader was a part of the BJP since 2019, after he was expelled from the Telugu Desam Party (TDP.)
Motkupalli Narasimhulu is likely to join the TRS party in the State. The expectation was based on his recent statement, where he was praising the K. Chandrashekar Rao Government. He was even informed about the invitation by K. Chandrashekar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana, to share the views of Motkupalli Narasimhulu over Dalit Empowerment. During the all party meeting over Dalit Empowerment in Telangana, KCR invited the BJP leader and asked about his views regarding the same.
Feeling proud and respected, Motkupalli Narasimhulu expressed happiness and said, he welcomed the Dalit Scheme of the TRS Government and called on all Dalits to stand by CM KCR.
Meanwhile, an official announcement regarding Motkupalli Narasimhulu oining the TRS is yet to be made.
