The bodyguard of Raja Singh, the Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of Goshamahal Assembly constituency, tested Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19.
The BJP MLA’s bodyguard was tested positive of COVID-19 on the 19th of June.
MLA Raja Singh and his family are in quarantine and their samples were collected. The reports are expected in two days.
Meanwhile, primary contacts of MLA Raja Singh and his gunman are also traced for the Coronavirus infection test.
The news of Raja Singh’s bodyguard being positive of the infection was confirmed through his social media handle, Twitter.
Raja Singh took to Twitter and said, “Yesterday my gunman has been tested positive with corona (Coronavirus.) I’ve taken test along with my family and karyakartas, the report is expected in 2 days. Increase your immune system to defeat #corona request all to perform yoga, exercise & guidelines of Aayush mantralaya.”
Meanwhile, the Novel Coronavirus cases reached a total of 6,526 positive cases.
Out of the total, 2,976 are active cases, 3,352 are cured/discharged and 198 deceased cases.
The Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) Government, in order to increase the treatment centres, approved private labs and hospitals to conduct the Novel Coronavirus test and start treatment.
The K. Chandrashekar Rao led Telangana Government also capped the prices of tests and treatment in the State. It would help people to get their tests done and would enhance the recovery rate in the State.
