The Chief Justice of India (CJI) Justice N.V. Ramana is on a three day maiden visit to Hyderabad, Telangana. CJI N.V. Ramana would be in Telangana till the 13th of June.
The CJI arrived at Hyderabad Airport on the 11th of June and was welcomed by Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) leaders and ministers. The Telangana Law Minister A. Indrakaran Reddy, the State Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar, the Secretary to Governor K. Surendra Mohan, K.T. Rama Rao, the Information Technology Minister, the Chief Justice of Telangana, Hima Kohli and others welcomed the CJI at Hyderabad Airport.
Later, he was taken to Raj Bhavan, where K. Chandrashekar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana and Tamilisai Soundararajan, the Governor of Telangana accorded CJI N.V. Ramana and his wife with bouquets and extended a warm welcome.
Justice N.V. Ramana would stay at the Raj Bhavan for the next three days. After taking the oath of office as the CJI, this is the first visit of Justice Ramana to Hyderabad.
Justice Ramana landed in Hyderabad from Tirupati where he stayed on the night of the 10th of June. The next morning, the 11th of June, he visited Tirumala temples and boarded a special flight to Hyderabad.
