Ms. K. Kavitha, the Member of the Legislative Council (MLC) of Nizamabad, met with Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana.
The meeting was said to be hours after Ms. K. Kavitha met the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) officials regarding the Delhi Liquor Scam Case. Notably, the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (TRS) leader Ms. K. Kavitha, who is also the daughter of KCR was named in the FIR of Delhi Liquor Scam. Along with Ms. K. Kavitha, the CBI mentioned some businessmen and leaders of the BRS in the scam. In regard to this, the CBI issued a notice to Ms. K. Kavitha asked her to appear before the CBI.
On the 11th of December, Ms. K. Kavitha met with the CBI officials at her residence in Hyderabad. The CBI officials with two female officers reached Ms. K. Kavitha’s residence at 11:00 A.M. A tight security was arranged around the BRS MLC’s house. Furthermore, the CBI questioning in the Delhi Liquor Policy Scam case continued for 7 hours, till 6:00 P.M.
After the CBI interrogation, Ms. Kavitha met with her father and discussed the investigation process. The meeting was held at Pragati Bhavan, Hyderabad for 45 minutes. After the meeting with KCR, Ms. K. Kavitha left for her residence.
