On Wednesday, four months after Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced the Demonetisation drive, the detectives of Hyderabad have arrested three persons in the BK Guda of SR Nagar. After receiving an anonymous call about the location, the West Zone Task Force team arrested P. Sridhar, 46, the south zone manager of a marketing company, K. Krishna Reddy, a private businessman from Kukkatpally area. The two were waiting to get money exchanged along with another accomplice D. Srinivasa Rao, 40, another businessman of Hayatnagar, near Community Hall.

The Hyderabad police immediately took the three into custody and a total of Rs. 44. 48 lakhs was seized from them. The Rs. 44.48 Lakhs in Demonetised currency of 6,013 Rs. 500 notes and 1442 Rs. 1,000 notes. Also, four mobile phones and a Tata Zest was recovered from them by the Police.

After the government demonetised currency of higher value, many people struggled to get currency exchanged. There has been a huge recovery of black money in different parts of the country by the special detectives, who have been employed by the Central and State governments for the recovery of fraudulent and black money in the country.
