The former Telangana Health Minister and a leader of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) Eatala Rajender moved the Telangana HC against the illegal survey of his properties.

Mr. Eatala Rajender approached the High Court and said the District Collector’s report was false and the trials were held without giving them any notice. The Minister also sought action against the officers in the petition, who illegally entered and surveyed their land in Achampet.

The survey of properties and a detailed investigation against Eatala Rajender took place as per the direction of K. Chandrashekar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana.

Recently, on the 2nd of May, KCR transferred Eatala Rajender from the Health Ministry portfolio. The decision was taken over the land grabbing allegations against the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) Minister.

Recently, some farmers of two villages of Medak district, alleged Eatala Rajender, the Telangana Health Minister of grabbing their lands illegally. The matter came into light after a news channel aired reports claiming to have exposed the encroachment of assigned lands by the Health Minister. Meanwhile, residents of 8 villages in Medak also complained to the CM regarding the same. They said that Eatala Rajender and his supporters forcibly took over their assigned lands to start a poultry industry.

The Chief Minister also said, a detailed report regarding the investigation would be submitted soon after a comprehensive survey. The survey of lands are being conducted on the behalf of Toopran Revenue District Officer (RDO) Ram Prakash. In addition, six teams have been formed to conduct the digital survey at Eatala Rajender’s hatcheries and surrounding assigned lands.

Meanwhile, Eatala Rajender denied all the allegations against him and demanded a hearing by the sitting judge of the Telangana High Court. He said that his ‘self-respect’ is more valuable to him than his position. Addressing the media on Monday, Mr. Eatala Rajender said, “There are several leaders who have earned hundreds of crores of rupees through illegal means. I demand an inquiry into all those people and their properties.”

The Government also received a report on the Medak district assigned lands in this regard. The Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) intelligence and other departments have entered the field and are conducting a thorough investigation.

In addition, the Telangana Government formed a panel for investigation. The three member panel led by M. Raghunandan Rao, the Panchayat Raj and Rural Development Commissioner, would inquire into the charges on Eatala Rajender, the former Health Minister of Telangana. The committee was formed on the 3rd of May, and was asked to submit a detailed report of the investigation.

The matter is pending with the Telangana High Court.
