The Enforcement Directorate (ED) accepted the request of Ms. K. Kavitha, the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) Member of the Legislative Council (MLC) in the Delhi Liquor Scam.
It is to be noted, on the 8th of March, the ED issued a notice to Ms. K. Kavitha, the daughter of Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana. The Central Agency asked Ms. K. Kavitha to appear before the agency for interrogation in the controversial Delhi Liquor Policy scam. Notably, the ED has named Ms. K. Kavitha in the chargesheet as one of the accused, blamed for money laundering and scam in the Delhi Liquor policy.
However, Ms. K. Kavitha, who is busy in work commitments, requested the ED to re schedule the dates and shift the same to the 11th of March.
t is to be noted, on the 8th of March, the ED issued a summon to Ms. K. Kavitha, the daughter of Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana. The Central agency asked Ms. K. Kavitha, a prime accused representing the ‘south central’ to appear before the agency for interrogation in connection with the Delhi Liquor Policy Scam.
After the issued notice, Ms. K. Kavitha said, “As a law-abiding citizen, I will fully cooperate with the investigation agencies. However, due to the Dharna and prefixed appointments, I’ll seek legal opinions on the date of attending it.”
Ms. K. Kavitha said, she would seek legal opinion and would respond to the ED.
