Etela Rajender, the Health Minister of Telangana, announced regarding the development of Huzurabad and Jammikunta region of Telangana.
Mr.state Rajender on the 2nd of September, conducted a meeting with the municipal officials of Huzurabad and Jammikunta. The meeting was held at the Commissioner and Director of Municipal Administration (CDMA) office in Masab Tank, Hyderabad.
During the meeting, Mr. Rajender asked the officials to prepare a comprehensive city development plan to make the two municipalities of Huzurabad and Jammikunta model towns.
Etela Rajender said, “The two towns of Huzurabad and Jammikunta are like two eyes.
Both towns have paved major roads. We have sanctioned Rs. 40 crores for drinking water in 2014 only. When I was the Finance Minister, I sanctioned Rs. 50 crores to Huzurabad Municipality and Rs. 40 crores to Jammikunta Municipality. Spend them to the fullest. There is no shortage of funds and all the authorities should work in coordination to develop the change to be visible (sic.)”
Soon Huzurabad and Jammikunta would be developed modern city with good roads equipped with central lighting system, drinking water, drainage, park, footpath, integrated markets, vegetable, grocery markets, Vaikuntha dams, dumping yard, pond beautification, construction of tank bunds and other facilities.
The meeting was attended by Arvind Kumar, Principal Secretary, Municipal Administration, Satyanarayana, CDMA and others. The minister also asked the authorities.
