Koppula Eshwar, a member of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) and the Telangana Minister for Welfare conducted a door to door campaign.
The campaign was organised for the upcoming Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) elections, scheduled on the 1st of December.
Mr. Eshwar conducted a door to door campaign for Sabita Anil Kishore, the TRS candidate in Subash Nagar, Indira Nagar and Ved Vihar area of 135th division in the GHMC limits.
Mr. Eshwar on the 27th of November, during the campaign enquired about the welfare of the people. He stated that it had been only six years since the formation of Telangana State, but the State witnessed development of sixty years under the leadership of the K. Chandrashekar Rao led TRS Government.
Koppula Eshwar further said, a lot of funds had been sanctioned for various development works from the village level to municipality in Telangana.
The Minister then appealed to the people and asked them to favour the TRS and vote for the car symbol in the GHMC elections.
The GHMC elections for 150 divisions is scheduled to be held on the 1st of December.
The major parties fighting in the GHMC elections are: the TRS, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP,) the Indian National Congress (INC) and the All India Majlis e Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM.)
The results of the GHMC elections would be announced on the 4th of December.
