K.T. Rama Rao said, “You have been ruling in Delhi for the last six years. If there are infiltrations and illegal immigrants, what are Home Minister Amit Shah and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh doing? Isn’t it you who gave them voter ID and Aadhaar cards?”
KTR also recalled the ‘surgical strike’ comment from the BJP State President Bandi Sanjay Kumar.
Mr. Rao asked, “After giving them voter ID cards and Aadhaar cards, now they are talking about surgical strikes and bombs. What do they mean? They will bomb and destroy Hyderabad?”
Mr. Rao continued criticising the Central Government, the BJP for targeting the Old City and creating communal chaos.
KTR said the points of the BJP should be on infrastructure, roads, drainages and such civic issues. However, the BJP was talking of Akbar, Babar and Bin Laden.
Mr. Rao said, “Who are Babar and Bin Laden? Have they come to Hyderabad? Do they have votes here? Why should we talk about them in Hyderabad?”
