Four batches of people, with approximately 1,442 Haj pilgrims, returned to Hyderabad on the 10th of September.

The pilgrims landed at the Haj Terminal, Shamshabad International Airport, Hyderabad.  The pilgrims’ flights landed at 2:25 A.M., 12:11 P.M., 3:15 P.M. and 7:30 P.M., respectively.

On the 3rd of May 2019, the Haj Committee of India released quota based seats for going to Mecca.  A total of 1,36,200 seats were approved for Islamic pilgrims in India.

The Haj Committee of India is a body which organises Islamic pilgrimages to Saudi Arabia and takes pilgrims to Mecca.

Mohammed Masiullah Khan, the Chairman of the Telangana State Haj Committee (TSHC,) along with Mr. B. Shafiullah, the Executive Officer of the Telangana State Haj Committee, welcomed the pilgrims.

M.A. Shafi, Abu Talha Amjad, Mohammed Arifuddin and other members of the TSHC were also present at the airport to receive the pilgrims who returned from Haj.

On the other hand, the Haj pilgrims appreciated the arrangements made by the Telangana State Haj Committee at the Haj terminal.

At the airport, Mr. Khan distributed 5 liters of Zamzam water cans.  Apart from that, the Committee made provision for free parking for visitors who came to receive the Haj pilgrims at the terminal.

On the 11th of September, 3 other flights are scheduled to land at the Haj Terminal, Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, Shamshabad.
