HMRL Allows Drunk Passenger For New Year Eve

The Hyderabad Metro Rail Limited (HMRL) decided to extend metro service timings in the wake of New Year 2020.

N.V.S. Reddy, the Managing Director of HMRLsaid, since the City would celebrate New Years, the HMRL decided to extend the metro timings as well as allow drunk passengers to board trains.

Though the Metro Rail is allowing drunk passengers on the 31st of December, any kind of nuisance or misbehaviour with other passengers would not be tolerated and strict actions would be taken.

According to sources, HMRL would run metro trains till 1:00 A.M., on the New Years Eve, the 1st of January, whereas, from the 2nd of January, the trains would be running from 6:00 A.M., to 11:00 P.M.

The last Lingampalli-Falaknuma MMTS train will depart the station at 1:30 A.M., while the Lingampalli Hyderabad MMTS train will depart at 1:15 A.M.
