Hyderabad: 13 Cylinders EXplode, Created Panic Amongst People

On the 29th of May, thirteen cylinders exploded in the Bapuji Nagar area of Seccunderabad, Hyderabad.

The incident created panic amongst the people of the locality.   The incident happened under the Bowenpally police station limits hich led damage of 20 huts of migrant workers residing there.  In the area, there were 33 huts, out of which 20 burnt where as 13 were partially burnt.

Besides houses, autos standing at the stand, rickshaws and other stores were also burnt in the explode.

According to the initial investigation, the fire errupted due to a gas cylinder blast in a house which later spread to several huts in the area.

As soon the fire broke out, firefighters rushed to the spot and rescued people there and controlled the situation.

Two fire workers were injured while struggling to douse the fire.

The official reason is yet to be revealed.   The police registered a case and launched an investigation regarding the same.
