Hyderabad city buses are all set to begin from the 25th of September.

The bus services would begin after a closure of over six months. Since the 24th of March, the first nation wide lockdown, the Hyderabad bus services were shut.

The decision to do the same was taken due to the outbreak of the Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19.

The Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) officials are making all the arrangements to operate the buses in Hyderabad and Secunderabad with all the protocols and guidelines of the COVID-19.

Social distancing, wearing face masks and sanitization would be mandatory for all the passengers boarding the city buses.

In addition, only a few buses would be functional from the 25th of September, on a trial basis.

There were around 3,798 RTC buses under Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) but after the RTC officials’ protest last year, the government has decided to put some of the bus services aside and run the limited number of buses.

The bus services in Hyderabad and Secunderabad would begin from 6:00 A.M., on the 25th of September.

Stay tuned for further updates.
