In the Uppal region of Hyderabad, a 33-year-old woman named Divya was stabbed to death, creating panic amongst the citizens of Uppal.
On the 19th of August, Friday, the victim’s husband identified as Deepak Kumar, 40 years old, allegedly stabbed his wife on Friday night.
The accused, a resident of Karmika Nagar, Uppal, lived along with his wife Divya and two children. Getting into the details of the murder, Deepak had an argument with his wife and in the heat of it, Deepak stabbed Divya to death. The police were immediately informed by neighbors, following which they rushed to the spot.
Meanwhile, the police shifted the victim’s body to the Gandhi Hospital mortuary. After an initial investigation, the police also said, there were issues between the two as Deepak suspected Divya’s fidelity, which led to an argument and then murder.
The police also registered a case under the relevant section of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and formed a team to nab the accused, Deepak, who is currently absconding.
Meanwhile, an investigation into the matter is underway.
