Hyderabad Police Arrests Man For Impersonating As KTR’s PA

On the 6th of March, the Hyderabad Police arrested a man for impersonating as the personal assistant of K.T. Rama Rao. 

Identified as B.Nagaraju, a former Ranji cricketer fooled people posing as the Telangana Minister KTR’s PA and extorted money. He allegedly collected the money from corporate hospitals and businessmen. The accused told victims that KTR would be sworn in as the next Chief Minister of Telangana and they needed money to arrange storage and mass advertisements for the program. He even said that the event was supposed to be held in the LB stadium, Hyderabad, Telangana.

The Police who arrested Nagaraju said, “Nagaraju managed to collect Rs. 39.22 lakhs from nine companies on the guise of putting up companies’ hoardings at the LB Stadium.”

The police said that Nagaraju had been involved in 10 cases in the past. He played as Ranji cricketer from Andhra Pradesh between 2014-2016.

He is originally from Yavvaripeta of Srikakulam district, Andhra Pradesh.
