Hyderabad Ranks 1st In JLL List Of Globally Dynamic Cities

Hyderabad emerged as the world’s most dynamic city in global property consultant Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) India’s ‘City Momentum Index.’

According to the list, Hyderabad ranked 1st, performing better in terms of socio economic factors and commercial real estate.  While Hyderabad ranked 1st, Bengaluru stood 2nd.

Other Indian cities in the list are Chennai, Delhi, Pune, Kolkata and Mumbai respectively.

In its report, JLL said, “Hyderabad has been assessed as the world’s most dynamic city from amongst 130 cities across the globe.”

Besides real estate, Hyderabad scored the highest in economic indicators like GDP growth, retail sales and airport passenger growth.

Ramesh Nair, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of JLL, said, “India’s fastest growing cities have been drawing a significant level of interest from overseas investors. We are starting to see the benefits of the government’s reforms on the infrastructure and policy front. Despite a slowing pace of economic growth, these reforms are bringing more market transparency, which boosts investment into real estate.”

Every year, the United States (U.S.,) based JLL releases a list of globally developed cities in certain criterias.  This year, beating Bengaluru, Hyderabad, with its innovation and growth, topped the list of 130 cities.

Stay tuned for further updates.
