IFFI Announces Megastar Chiranjeevi As Indian Film Personality Of Year 2022
Megastar Chiranjeevi has been honoured with the Indian Film Personality of the Year 2022 Award.
At the opening ceremony of the 53rd International Film Festival of India (IFFI) held on the 20th of November, Sunday, the Tollywood Superstar Mr. Chiranjeevi was honoured with the Indian Film Personality of the Year 2022 award. Th event was held in Goa and was attended by Indian Government officials, Goa Chief Minister Mr. Pramod Sawant, Bollywood celebrities and others.
Mr. Anurag Thakur, the Union Information and Broadcasting Minister announced the same in front of the attendees and also tweeted about it.
Megastar Chiranjeevi took to Twitter to express his gratitude to the Government of India for the honour and tweeted, “Greatly Delighted and Humbled at this honour, Sri @ianuragthakur! My deep gratitude to Govt of India @MIB_India @IFFIGoa @Anurag_Office and all my loving fans only because of whom i am here today! (sic).”

Meanwhile, highlighting the achievements of Mr. Chiranjeevi, he has been honoured with the most coveted awards, namely, the Padma Bhushan, India’s third highest civilian honour, the Raghupathi Venkaiah award, the highest award of Andhra Pradesh, the Nandi award and many others. He started his film career in 1978 and is an established actor in the Tollywood movie industry.
