KCR Conducts A Meeting, Brief COVID-19 Situation To State Governor

K. Chandrashekar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana, on the 1st of April, met Tamilisai Soundararajan, the Governor of Telangana.

Mr. Rao conducted a meeting with the State Governor, regarding the ongoing situation over the Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19 in the State.

The meeting was organised at Pragati Bhavan, Telangana and was attended by Etela Rajender, the Health Minister of Telangana, Somesh Kumar,  the Chief Secretary of Telangana and Mahender Reddy, the Director General of Police of Telangana.

Other officials who were present during the meeting were Shanti kumari, the General Secretary to the Medical Department and Ramakrishna Rao, the Secretary to the Finance Ministry of Telangana.

During the meeting, KCR discussed the steps and plans to be taken for the further prevention of the spread of the Novel Coronavirus.

After the meeting, the Telangana CM also briefed Tamilisai Soundararajan regarding the steps and precautionary measures, which the State Government took to control the virus.

Meanwhile, the State Government is on alert mode after the State Government reported 1,000 people from Telangana to be a part of the Markaz mosque event in Delhi.

The Telangana Government reported a total of 77 COVID-19 positive cases.  All the cases are under observation and are getting treatment at the Gandhi Hospital in Hyderabad, Telangana.
