KCR Conducts Video Conference, Briefs About Janata Curfew

The effect of the Novel Coronavirus also known as COVID-19 in Telangana is getting worse after the State Government reported 2 new positive COVID-19 cases.

On the 21st of March, the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) reported two new cases of the coronavirus, taking the total number to 21.

In support of combatting the deadly virus, K. Chandrashekar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana, urged people to abide by the Janata Curfew, called by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Janata Curfew is scheduled for the 22nd of March, Sunday, from 7:00 A.M., to 9:00 P.M., as a part of the prevention measures taken for the Novel Coronavirus. 

KCR also conducted a media conference and addressed the citizens of Telangana.   During his speech, KCR highlighted few things and precautions, which needs to be taken durinng the Janata Curfew

  • 24 Hour Curfew, from 6:00 A.M., on the 22nd of March to 6:00 A.M., on the 23rd of March
  • Self quarantine during those 24 hours
  • Termination of Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) buses in the state tomorrow.
  • Buses from other states are also requested not to arrive in the state for 24 hours.
  • Metro Rail Services in Hyderabad suspended for tomorrow.
  • Coolies don’t even get out of the house tomorrow.
  • If you do not leave the house in such circumstances, serve the country.
  • The state of Telangana should be the ideal for the country by adopting the Janata curfew for 24 hours.
  • On the 22nd of March at 5:00 P.M., express gratitude for one who served during the crisis bravely, which includes doctors, security staff, media persons, vendors and others.
  • The central government has given permission to conduct corona tests at CCMB.
  • Karimnagar town has not been infected by people from Indonesia recently.
  •  TRS have already identified over 60 tourists from abroad and moved to Quarantine.
  • The government will help the people in any situation without any cost.
  • Poojas and Kainkars continue to be a regular part of the popular temples of the state.
  • During the video conference with Prime Minister Modi, Telangana Government advised to stop international flights, as well as shut down airports and ports
