K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR,) the Chief Minister of Telangana, on the 29th of January, conducted a meeting with Telangana Government officials.
During the meeting, KCR instructed the officials to conduct the elections for the Primary Agriculture Cooperative Societies (PACS.)
After the grand victory of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) in the recent Municipal elections, the TRS President asked the concerned officials to conduct the PASC elections immediately.
The Telangana Government is expected to issue the election notification in the next 4 to 5 days, whereas the elections are expected to be conducted within 15 days.
KCR asked the officials to conduct the elections at the earliest because the term of the elected body of the PASC will end soon.
The Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) is soon going to release a notification regarding the PASC elections.
