K.T. Rama Rao, the Municipal Administration and Urban Development of Telangana, on the 9th of September, conducted a review meeting with the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) officials.
During the meeting with the GHMC Zonal Commissioners, Mr. Rao directed to identify open places for bus bays.
Regarding the development of parks in the GHMC limits, KTR asked the officials to identify medium to marginal size of open areas.
Zonal Commissioners of different zones gave a power point presentations on comprehensive developmental activities like parks, bus bays, public toilets, central medians, small parks, metro rail and walking tracks in their respective zones.
In addition, the zonal commissioners also discussed construction of FOBs, skyways, footpaths, wall painting, lane marking, painting on Flyovers, protection and development of lakes, graveyards, vending zones and vegetable markets etc in different areas.
Concluding the review meeting, K.T. Rama Rao, asked all the officials to prepare a two years programme on protection and beautification of all 185 lakes in GHMC.
The meeting was held at Pragati Bhavan, Hyderabad, Telangana on the 9th of September.
