K.T. Rama Rao, the Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister of Telangana, conducted a review meeting with municipality officials of Telangana.
On the 28th of July, durning the meeting, Mr. Rao said, the aim of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) Government is to provide good governance in the State to decentralize the municipal administration in a direction of progress.
KTR along with State Forest and Environment Minister Indira Reddy conducted a review on municipalities in the joint Adilabad district at Buddha Bhawan.
Mr. Rao directed representatives and officials to focus on the minimum requirements like roads, drinking water and sanitation in the towns under the municipalities.
The Minister had a lengthy discussion on the ongoing development works and programs to be undertaken in the municipalities.
Speaking on the occasion, KTR said that a development model should be prepared for the development of municipalities. He said, Everyone wants to work in line with the ideas of K. Chandrashekar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana.
According to the ideology of KCR, the municipality should continue with the aim of meeting the basic needs of the people.
Mr. K. T. Rama Rao in the meeting suggested to focus on roads, drinking water, sanitation and sanitation. The new municipality wants to strictly enforce the functions prescribed by law.
Sanitation workers are required to be paid in a timely manner. The municipalities were also directed to provide the clothing, shoes and masks they need during the work.
They want to work towards the goal of having one toilet for every thousand people in all municipalities.
The State also want to have 50 % female toilets for the residents who are women in these municipality circles.
Minister KTR directed every Municipal Commissioner and Chairman to be in the field by 5.30 A.M., for the surprise visit for the progress and development work.
