K.T. Rama Rao (KTR,) the Working President of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS,) on the 10th of September, conducted a special drive at his residence.
The newly appointed Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister conducted the drive to create awareness about sanitation and hygiene.
On the 9th of September, Mr. Rao conducted a meeting regarding the same with Etela Rajender, the Health Minister of Telangana and discussed the drive. The drive was conducted after the recent rise in diseases due to bad hygiene.
To create awareness amongst the citizens of Telangana, KTR himself conducted the drive and cleared the waste and stagnated water at his residence.
Concluding the drive, K.T. Rama Rao requested people to maintain cleanliness in their surroundings. He said, “Make sure no water stagnation at your area in which the mosquitoes spreading dengue lay eggs,”
To prevent the viral fevers & the menace that dengue has become, request each of you to inspect your homes for stagnant water points; flower pots, air coolers and water bodies; all breeding grounds for mosquitoes
I’ve done that at my home. Please do the same and post your pics pic.twitter.com/A6PQV67jvK
