On the 14th of April, K.T. Rama Rao, the Telangana Minister of Municipal Administration and Urban Development (MAUD,) launched some development projects at Jadcharla in Mahbubnagar district.
During the visit, Mr. K.T. Rama Rao inaugurated the newly constructed mini Tank Bund on Nalla Cheruvu Lake. The lake is located near Kavarampet and Badepally area of district.
The Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) Working President during the launch event of mini Tank bund, addressed the newly elected councillors and others. He said the Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) and the TRS Government is keen to provide financial asistance to the students. He said CM KCR has okayed post matric scholarship to 18 lakh students of intermediate. He also sid for the past six years, the KCR Government has granted Rs. 12,800 crores to degree students in the form of fee-reimbursement.
Highlighting the work of CM KCR towards development, KTR said the Telangana CM has been encouraging students to study in the foreign universities and helping them in the name of Ambedkar Overseas Scholarship and Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Scholarship. He further said in coming days, Jadcharla would also be a developed mandal/ municipality further due to IT Sez. He has named some of the State Government’s schemes which turn boon to the poor people in the mandal, providing them several benefits through State Government schemes.
The Minister also asked them to support in the election so that the TRS Government can come out with more such welfare measures.
Besides launching the mini Tank Bund, the TRS Working President KTR also launched several development projects and road construction work. The development projects and launches came at a time, when Jadcherla Municipal Corporation is going to conduct its Civic Body elections. However, the date of the municipal elections is yet to be announced.
