LPG Cylinder Prices Increase 4th Time, New Prices Hiked By Rs. 25

The liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) non subsidized prices have been increased once again. 

This is the fourth time in two months that LPG cylinder (14.2 kgs) increased.

On the 1st of March, prices once again increased by Rs. 25 per cylinder.

With this, the price of one LPG cylinder (14.2kgs) is Rs. 871 in Hyderabad. Till the 1st of March, the price was Rs. 846.

Recently, on the 26th of February, LPG cylinder prices were increased by Rs. 25, making it available at Rs. 846.

So far, a total of Rs. 125 has been increased on LPG cylinders in Hyderabad.

Previously, it was increased by Rs. 25 on the 4th of February, Rs. 50 on the 15th of February, and by Rs. 25 on the 26th of February.

If the price continues to increase, it might affect the sales of cylinders.

There are 1.18 crore cooking gas connections across Telangana with an average consumption of 50 lakh cylinders per month.

Besides LPG cylinder prices, petrol and diesel prices also touched all time highs in the City.

While in Hyderabad cylinder prices are Rs. 871,in Delhi and Mumbai costs are Rs.819, in Kolkata it is Rs. 845 and in Chennai the prices are Rs. 835. Cylinder prices are highest in Hyderabad.
