In Telangana’s Hyderabad, a man was sentenced to 20 years of imprisonment, for sexually assaulting a minor.
Notably, the man, who was the step father of the 15 year old minor, allegedly raped her and threatened her. However, after tolerating six to seven months of torture and sexual assault, the victim told her mother, who then filed a first information report, with the Nampally Police Station. The case was registered in February 2021, and the court after trials, convicted imprisonment on the 11th of March, 2023.
The 39 year old accused was convicted in a rigorous crime of assaulting a minor and was sentenced to imprisonment by a Hyderabad court. The XII Additional Metropolitan Sessions Judge in Nampally sentenced the man to 20 years of rigorous imprisonment and imposed a fine of Rs. 1,000.
