Medaram Jatara – Counting Of Hundis Collection Begins

Days after the Medaram Jatara festival (5th of February-8th of February) concluded, the Medaram Jatara authorities started counting the money collected in all the hundis during the festival.

The counting started on the afternoon of the 12th of February.  So far, the authorities counted the amount collected in 64 hundis out of a total of 494 hundis.  The amount collected as of now is Rs. 1.5 crores.

Approximately 300 volunteers and Endowment Department personnel were at work, counting the amount.

The counting started at the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Kalyana Mandapam in Warangal district, Telangana.

The counting of the amount in all the 494 hundis would be completed in a week.
