Mohammed Pahelwan – Accused In 2011 Akbaruddin Owaisi Attack Case Passes Away

Mohammed Bin Omer Yafai, also known as Mohammed Pahelwan, an accused in the 2011 Akbaruddin Owaisi attack case, died on the 11th of February.

Mohammed Pahelwan, 60 years old, died during the early hours of the 11th of February due to a heart attack at Yashoda Hospital in Malakpet, Telangana. 

Mohammed Pahelwan, a realtor and wrestler, was in the limelight after he tried to kill Akbaruddin Owaisi, a floor leader and the Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) of the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM.)

In April 2011, Mohammed Pahelwan was arrested in relation to an attempt to murder case registered by AIMIM leaders.

Mohammed Pahelwan was unwell for the past few days and was admitted to Yashoda Hospital, Malakpet, where he died of a cardiac arrest while undergoing treatment.

Mohammed Pahelwan is survived by his wife, three sons and two daughters.
