MP Revanth Reddy To KTR, “Go On Hunger Strike Against Central Government With Me”

Revanth Reddy, the Indian National Congress (INC) Member of Parliament (MP) asked K.T. Rama Rao, the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) Minister to go on a hunger strike.

Responding to KTR’s criticism against the Central Government, MP Revanth Reddy said if KTR has dedication and honesty to fight for the State, he should go on a hunger strike with him.

Mr. Reddy said, he is ready to join hands with KTR in this and would agitate against the Central Government for Telangana’s development and projects for growth.

Revanth Reddy said, “I am ready to stage an indefinite hunger strike in Delhi in the interests of the state. Is KTR ready for the challenge. KTR has been writing letters to the central government and its ministers. Let’s move over letters and take up fast unto death at Jantar Mantar in Delhi.”

The challenge of Reventh Reddy came after KTR criticised the Narendra Modi led Government of deceiving Telangana by cancelling the awaited Information Technology Investment Region (ITIR) project and Kazipet Rail Coach factory projects.

Recently, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) led Central Government cancelled the ITIR Project in Telangana.

Revanth Reddy said, “Both the TRS and BJP project itself as rivals in Telangana but are good friends in Delhi. Why did TRS MPs support almost every Bill introduced by the Modi-led BJP Government in the Parliament. With an eye on the MLC election and Graduate voters, the TRS leaders are now blaming the Modi-government for dropping the ITIR project. Both (the) TRS and (the) BJP are responsible.”

The comments were made during a series of meetings during the campaign in Kukatpally, Quthbullapur and Secunderabad Cantonment areas.

The meetings were organised ahead of the upcoming Graduate Members of the Legislative Council (MLC) elections, scheduled on the 14th of March.

Stay tuned for further updates.
