In the Munugode by election, held on the 3rd of November, the Election Commission of India (ECI) confirmed a voter’s turnout recorded at 93.13%.
The polling figures and voter’s turnout data was available on the morning of the 4th of November, as at many polling stations, the voting continued till 10:30 P.M. Although the official voting time was till 6:00 P.M., at many polling stations, voters reported technical glitch, due to which the time was extended. In addition, of the total 2,41,805 voters, 2,25,192 exercised their franchise.
On the 3rd of November, the Munugode Assembly constituency, conducted by election, which was said to be a tough fight between, the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS,) the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Indian National Congress (INC.) Candidates of all three major political party are eyeing the Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) seat, aiming to strengthen their parties, for the 2023 Telangana Assembly elections.
Meanwhile, the results of the Munugode by election would be announced on the 6th of November.
