On the 4th of October, the price of petrol in Hyderabad reduced by 10 paise, to Rs. 79.04 per litre. However, the price of diesel remained the same, Rs. 73.44.
Apart from Hyderabad, prices fluctuated in Amaravati, Andhra Pradesh as well. The new price of petrol and diesel in Amaravati, with a reduction of 18 paise and 8 paise respectively, is Rs. 78.62 and Rs. 72.68.
In Andhra Pradesh’s Vijayawada, the cost of petrol is Rs. 78.25 and diesel costs Rs. 72.34.
According to sources, the change in the price of diesel and petrol was seen in major cities like Mumbai, Delhi and Kolkata as well.
The price of petrol and diesel in Mumbai is Rs. 79.93 and Rs. 70.61 respectively, whereas in Delhi, petrol costs Rs. 74.33 and diesel is Rs. 67.35.
