On the 26th of September, the price of petrol in Hyderabad rose again by 7 paise to Rs. 78.87 per litre. On the other hand, a hike of 8 paise caused the price of diesel to touch Rs. 73.19.
Recently, on the 24th of September, the price of petrol and diesel in Hyderabad rose by 23 paise and 15 paise respectively.
Apart from Hyderabad, prices fluctuated in Amaravati, Andhra Pradesh as well. The new price of petrol and diesel in Amaravati, with a hike of 6 paise and 8 paise respectively, is Rs 78.53 and Rs. 72.52.
In Andhra Pradesh’s Vijayawada, the cost of petrol is Rs. 78.16, after a spike of 6 paise and diesel costs Rs. 72.17, after a hike of 7 paise.
With the new prices, Hyderabad is the second costliest city for petrol and diesel, after Mumbai.
According to sources, the change in the price of diesel and petrol was seen only in Hyderabad and Andhra Pradesh. Other major cities like Mumbai, Delhi and Kolkata did not witness any fluctuation in the price.
The price of petrol and diesel in Mumbai is Rs. 79.85 and Rs. 70.44 respectively, whereas in Delhi, petrol costs Rs. 74.19 and diesel is Rs. 67.14.
