On the 11th of August, a 15 year old girl allegedly committed suicide after being raped in Warangal district, Telangana.
The incident came to light after the Telangana Police reported the case and arrested the 2 accused, who live in the same locality as the girl. According to the Police, the incident took place on the 10th of August, when the accused, including a minor, took the victim to a secluded area and raped her.
David Raju, the Circle Officer (CO) of Warangal, said, “The duo took the teenager to a secluded place and raped her. Next morning, her body was found hanging from the ceiling of her room.”
In the last few days, two rape cases were registered in Warangal.
