Revanth Reddy, a senior leader of the Indian National Congress (INC,) on the 15th of October, conducted a press meet and announced a protest against the Telangana Government.

Mr. Reddy, who is in support of the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) employees, asked K. Chandrashekar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana, to resolve the matter.

Criticising KCR for sacking approximately 48,000 TSRTC employees, Revanth Reddy gave a deadline of the 19th of October to resolve the issue between the TSRTC staff and the State Government.

If the State Government does not resolve the matter by the 19th of October, the INC will stage a protest outside the Pragati Bhavan on the 21st of October.

Apart from the INC, the Telugu Desam Party (TDP,) the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and other opposition parties are also in support of the TSRTC employees.

INC leaders like Damodar Raja Narasimha, Shabbir Ali and other officials were present during the press meet.
