A group of 4 attackers, on the night of the 12th of December, brutally murdered a man in Banjara Hills, Hyderabad, Telangana.
The deceased was identified as Syed Noor, who is said to be a rowdy sheeter (a person who has a criminal record.)
The incident took place at the NBT Nagar Auto Stand on Road No. 12, Banjara Hills. The four assailants attacked Syed with a knife. Syed suffered injuries on his chest, face and neck.
Soon after the murder, the accused surrendered themselves at the Banjara Hill Police Station by confessing to their crime.
A.R. Srinivas, the Deputy Commissioner of Police West Zone, along with Hyderabad Police’s Clues Team, visited the crime scene and started an investigation. According to the initial investigation, the Police found out 2 months ago, as assault case, falling under the Golconda Police Station limits, was registered against Syed Noor. Though the reason behind Noor’s murder is yet to be ascertained, the Police believe it could be a case of revenge.
Syed Noor was one of the members of the famous criminal gang Yousuf Mamu in Hyderabad.
The Banjara Hills Police registered a case against the four accused and shifted Syed Noor’s body to a government hospital for an autopsy.
An investigation regarding the case is underway.
