In Hyderabad, Sakina Foundation organized its 87th free health camp for over 300 people, on the 27th of March, Sunday.
In the free health camp, approximately 300 people got their check ups done and were given medicines worth Rs. 1 lakh across the City. The camps were organized in areas including Netaji Nagar, Erragadda and Jubilee Hills. Apart from medicines, books and stationery material was also distributed to the underprivileged children of the localities.
According to sources, all these camps provided free consultation of senior doctors and specialists like Orthopedic, Pediatrician, Gynecologist, Diabetologist, General Physicians, nutrition and others. Patients suffering from heart disease, diabetes, paralysis and various other ailments, belonging to lower-income families, visited these camps.
The agenda of the organization to conduct health camps is to create awareness like cleanliness, health and other services of the organization.
The camp was volunteered by a few locals and youths along with the staff of the Sakina Foundation. Asif Hussain Sohail, the Chairman of Sakina Foundation said, “The Foundation has always been a front runner in providing a helping hand to any public initiative and community service, ensuring that yearly health camps will also be held for the benefit of the underprivileged.”
The non-government organization (Sakina Foundation) organizes such free health camps in the City of Telangana, every year.
