Talasani Srinivas Yadav, the Animal Husbandry Minister of Telangana, on the 15th of July, said, people are joining the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) voluntarily for welfare causes.
Talasani appreciated the TRS on the occasion of the ongoing membership drive in several districts. Accompanied by Anand Kumar Goud, the TRS in charge of Nampally, Talasani participated in the membership drive in Vijayanagar Colony and spoke about the TRS Government and its efforts. He said, K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR,) the Chief Minister of Telangana, launched schemes for helping the public and following the steps of KCR, several states and parties are doing the same.
During the membership drive, he urged the public to support the ruling TRS Government and contribute to the development and welfare schemes.
As per the directions of KCR, the ministers, district in charges and TRS legislators are working with the local leaders and offering membership in all the districts.
K.T. Rama Rao (KTR,) the Working President of the TRS, asked the leaders to offer membership to as many as 50,000 to 60,000 new people in every Assembly segment.
KTR said, “We will go beyond the target given with regard to membership in the segments.” He further said, “The TRS aims to protect the rights of the people and fulfil their aspirations.”
The last date to enroll as a member of the TRS is the 20th of July.
