The accident of Mr. Sai Dharam Tej, a Tollywood star and the nephew of Megastar Chiranjeevi, made headlines.
While Sai Dharam Tej’s fans and supporters wished for his speedy recovery, they blamed the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation for the accident.
It is to be noted, on the evening of the 10th of September, the Tollywood actor met with an accident, while riding his sports bike. After an initial investigation, it was reported Mr. Sai Dharam Tej slipped, resulting in a collarbone fracture and minor injuries. As of now, he is under doctors’ supervision at Apollo Hospital, Hyderabad.
On the microblogging site Twitter, the fans of the Tollywood star trended #SaiDharamTej and criticised the GHMC for bad roads and skidding on the road.
Responding to these criticisms, the Telangana State Minister Mr. Talasani Srinivas Yadav lashed out at fans and media for the same. He asked media houses and press not to frame the GHMC responsible for the incident. He also urged privacy for the actor and his family.
While addressing the media, Mr. Talasani Srinivas Yadav said, “Actor suffered minor injuries in the mishap as he was wearing a helmet and jacket.”
The statement of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) Minister came after his visit to Apollo Hospital in Hyderabad. On Saturday, the 11th of September, Mr. Talasani Srinivas Yadav visited Mr. Sai Dharam Tej to know about his health condition.
