In Telangana, fifteen school students were injured, when a Road Transport Corporation (RTC) bus hit a school bus, on the 31st of January, Tuesday.
The incident occurred near Yellareddypet of Sircilla District, Telangana, when an RTC bus hit the school bus of a private school with fifteen students from behind. Although the reason behind the tragic incident is unknown, police suspect it to be the negligence of the RTC bus driver.
Besides the school children, two passengers travelling in the RTC bus also received injuries and were shifted to a nearby hospital in Sircialla.
Meanwhile, Mr. K.T. Rama Rao, the Cabinet Minister and the Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) of Sircilla District, condemned the accident. Furthermore, he directed Mr. Anuraag Jayanthi, the District Collector of Sircilla to look into the matter and ensure the medical treatment of the injured children. While speaking to the district collector, Mr. K.T. Rama Rao asked him to submit a detailed report of the incident.
