During the celebration of the 75th Independence Day on the 15th of August, an unfortunate incident was reported in the Sangareddy district, Telangana.
In Sangareddy, two persons died of electrocution while another one sustained serious burn injuries. Notably, during the national flag hoisting ceremony, the victims came in contact with a live wire at the Anand Nagar colony of Indresham village. The Patancheru police station limits confirmed the incident on the 16th of August, Tuesday. The police said, the colony people organised a flag hoisting event, but the flag was put up near a pole of wires and when they were unfurling the flag, the victims accidentally touched the wire and electrocuted.
Furthermore, the deceased persons were Anil Kumar (40) and Tirupati (42.) Another person identified as Dnunjay (38) sustained injuries and was admitted to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Moreover, the local police registered a case and launched an investigation into this matter.
