The Telangana Legislative Assembly Budget session started on the 9th of September. The session started with the announcement of the 2019-2020 Budget of Telangana.
K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR,) the Chief Minister of Telangana, introduced the full Budget for the fiscal year 2019-2020.
After KCR, T. Harish Rao, the Finance Minister of Telangana, introduced the Budget in the Telangana Legislative Council.
Amid the announcement and discussion about the Budget of Telangana, Pocharam Srinivasa Reddy, the Speaker of the Telangana Assembly, adjourned the session to the 14th of September.
In February 2019, K. Chandrashekar Rao introduced the Vote on Account Budget of Telangana of Rs. 1,82,017.
On the 9th of September, the State introduced the full fledged Budget, just a day after the Cabinet expansion of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS.)
On the 14th of September, the TRS ministers will discuss various issues related to the development of Telangana and the allocation of funds for the development of various departments.
The Budget session will resume again on the 14th of September.
