Telangana Budget Session To Be Held Soon, KCR Directs Officials To Prepare 2021-2022 Budget

The Telangana Government is going to present the State Budget for the fiscal year 2021-2022 soon.

The Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) Government is preparing to finalize the budget for 2021-22.

In regard to this, K. Chandrashekar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana, instructed officials to draw up a realistic budget taking into account the revenue and resources of Telangana.

Considering the economic crisis due to the Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19 pandemic, KCR asked officials to reduce the budget for non essential departments. However, the KCR Government assured there would be no effect on welfare schemes announced for the people. Some of the schemes which have been launched under the leadership of KCR are pension schemes, bursary scheme, fee compensation, Shaadi Mubarak welfare scheme, Kalyana Lakshmi and others for several classes of the society.

This year, the State Budget session is likely to begin in March.

However, an official announcement regarding the Telangana Budget session is yet to be made.

Last year, the Telangana Budget Session started from the 6th of March 2020.

Stay tuned for further updates.
