Telangana CM KCR And Minister KTR Launches Telanganaku Haritha Haram Programme

K.T. Rama Rao, the Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister of Telangana, on the 25th of June, launched the Telanganaku Haritha Haram programme in Hyderabad.

While KTR inaugurated the programme at Bhoiguda, K. Chandrashekar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana, would inaugurate the Telanganaku Haritha Haram programme by planting saplings in Narasapur. 

The sixth phase of the Telanganaku Haritha Haram programme is a measure taken by the Telangana Government for a green environment.

Under this programme, the State Government would plant saplings in the State.

K.T. Rama Rao kick started the Telanganaku Haritha Haram programme by planting a sapling at GHMC park in Bhoiguda, Telangana. 

In the 6th phase, the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) would plant as many as 29.86 crore saplings this year in Telangana. 

Out of the total, 3.59 crore saplings would be planted under the forest cover, 21.16 crore saplings would be raised in several nurseries of Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC,) HMDA, Panchayat Raj and Rural Development department. 

As of now, the State Government planted 24.74 crore saplings under the programme. 

After the inauguration of the Telanganaku Haritha Haram, TRS minister Jagadish Reddy also planted a sapling at ward no.9 in NTR colony. 

Similarly in Mahabubabad’s Maripeda municipality, Satyavati Rathod also took part and planted saplings. 

KTR took to Twitter and posted about the 6th phase of the Telanganaku Haritha Haram launch for a better and green environment.
