The Chief Minister of Telangana, K. Chandrashekar Rao called for a State Cabinet meeting on the 1st of August.
The Cabinet meeting of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) has been called to discuss the proposed Dalit Bandhu Scheme. During the Cabinet meeting, all the Council of Ministers of the State would give their approval for the Dalit Bandhu Scheme formally.
The cabinet would also discuss the modalities prepared by the TRS Government, especially the financial assistance of Rs. 10 lakh to the Dalit families in Telangana.
According to sources, tomorrow’s meeting would also discuss the proposed ‘Nettanna Bheema Scheme,’ which would provide Rs. 5 lakh insurance to weavers’ families. Adding to it, the pilot project and launch of the Dalit Bandhu Scheme from Huzurabad Assembly constituency would also be a part of discussion in the Cabinet meeting.
The TRS Government is planning to launch development programmes including establishment of educational institutions, medical care centres among other matters in Huzurabad.
Besides this, the TRS would also discuss the possible third wave of the Wuhan virus, measures to control the spread of the virus, medical arrangements, ongoing vaccination drive and other issues during the Novel Coronavirus pandemic.
Sunday’s Cabinet meeting would be held at 2:00 P.M., at Pragati Bhavan, Hyderabad. Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao would chair the meeting, which would be attended by the TRS Ministers and senior officials.
