Telangana CM KCR Likely To Extend His Delhi Stay, Make Attemps To Meet PM Modi And Amit Shah

K. Chandrashekar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana is in Delhi.  He recently, on the 2nd of September, laid the foundation stone for the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) Bhavan in New Delhi.  

If sources to be believed, Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao is making attempts to get an appointment of Mr. Amit Shah, the Union Home Minister and Mr. Narendra Modi, the Prime Minister of India.  However, both the Prime Minister and the Home Minister is unavailable for the meeting with Mr. Rao, the President of the TRS. 

According to sources, to meet PM Modi and Mr. Amit Shah, KCR is expected to extend his stay in Delhi.  Initially he was scheduled to return to Hyderabad on the evening of the 3rd of September, but now he is planning to stay in Delhi until the 5th of September.

The attempts of Mr. Rao to meet PM Modi and Amit Shah came at a time when the TRS and the BJP unit in Telangana are fighting to win the upcoming Huzurabad Assembly by election. The meeting is expected to hold an important significance.
