Telangana CM KCR To Visit Karimnagar Tomorrow

K. Chandrashekar  Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana, is scheduled to visit Karimnagar, Telangana to review the situation and arrangements for the Novel Coronavirus.

Mr. Rao along with a few Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS)  leaders would visit Karimnagar on the 21st of March. The sudden visit was planned to instill confidence among people and to review the measures taken by the State Government to curb the spread of the Coronavirus or COVID-19.

Besides the visit, KCR is also expected to hold a review meeting with the officials there and discuss the prevention measures.

After the State reported 16 positive COVID-19 cases till date, the TRS Government geared up to do everything possible to combat the spread amongst people.  Eight people with a travel history from Indonesia stayed in Karimnagar and were tested positive.

Meanwhile, India reported 200 positive cases of COVID-19 and 4 casualties.  The citizens are advised to self isolate or quarantine themselves till the 31st of March. 

As of now, India is in phase 2 out of the 4 phases of the Novel Coronavirus.  Citizens are asked to avoid going to any public places and requested to wear masks, use sanitizers and be indoors.  If any person is experiencing symptoms of dry cough, sneezing, breathing issues, fever or cold, he/she is advised to visit the nearest medical centre and get  COVID-19 tests done.
