Telangana CM Sets Deadline For Yadadri Temple Construction In State

K. Chandrashekar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana, on the evening of the 21st of June, visited Yadadri temple in Telangana. During his visit, KCR inspected the undergoing renovation work and announced a 75 days deadline for completion of the ongoing work. 

According to sources, KCR, the President of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS,) said, “The entire work should be completed within two and half months. Construction agencies should be changed if work is not being completed on time.”

K. Chandrashekar Rao was accompanied by officials of Yadadri districts, and a few TRS leaders. While touring the temple and reviewing the ongoing work, KCR instructed the officials to develop the cottages at a fast pace. He even conducted a meeting with the Executive Officer (EO) of the Yadadri Temple and other concerned officials. During the meeting, KCR instructed them to ensure facilities like drinking water, waiting space and others for devotees coming for darshan at the temple. The State CM also asked about queue complexes, escalators, ornamental elevation, land scalping, B.T. road, pushkarini, kalyan Katta, car parking and other construction works amid the Novel Coronavirus pandemic. 

K. Chandrashekar Rao instructed the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) to set up a new bus station and bus depot in the Temple City within a week. In regard to this, the Telangana Government would release the necessary funds.

In addition, a parking lot with a capacity of 5,000 vehicles would also be constructed at the Ring Road in Yadadri. The CM instructed the Telangana Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar to conduct a differential global positioning system (DGPS) survey of land under the Ring Road.

Being strict about the deadline for the construction, KCR warned the agencies and said, if they fail to complete the work, the Government would change the agencies in charge of the work.
